The Certification "Organic" of the Technical Center for Organic Agriculture



In 2002, the Technical Center of Organic Agriculture signed a contract with an organism of control and certification, to respect and adhere with rules of production using organic methods in the experimental field of the CTAB located in Chott Mariem.



Since then the experimental field of the CTAB is subject to two inspections per year (one announced and one unannounced) from the control and certification body verifying the production, processing, storage and transaction using organic methods and therefore the CTAB annually receives a certificate by organic methods according to law 99-30 from Tunisia and for the entire experimental field which covers about 5 ha.
