As part of its annual communication and outreach program, the Technical Center of Organic Agriculture (CTAB) participated in the 16th edition of the International Exhibition of Agricultural Investment and Technology (SIAT 2026), held at the Kram Exhibition Center in Tunis from October 28 to 31, 2026, featuring a dedicated booth. The participating staff showcased the various activities conducted by the Center as a key player in Tunisia's organic sector, in alignment with the strategic priorities of the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries. The event was also marked by the continuous presence of the Center's executives and experts throughout the exhibition to provide information, advice, and recommendations to visitors around the following focus areas :
• Presenting the Center’s missions and activities, and consolidating its position as a strategic partner in supporting the transition toward sustainable production systems.
• Disseminating the principles and foundations of organic farming among farmers, professionals, and consumers, in accordance with the national guidelines led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Water Resources, and Fisheries.
• Enhancing the Center’s visibility at both national and international levels by opening channels of dialogue with stakeholders in the organic sector and attracting new partnerships that foster innovation and knowledge transfer.
• Welcoming visitors (professionals, farmers, students, and consumers) and answering their inquiries through the Center's specialized staff, thereby strengthening trust in the Tunisian organic label and opening up prospects for field cooperation.
This participation also marked an important milestone in consolidating the Center's strategic vision aimed at promoting an organic culture and affirming its role as a bridge between scientific and technological research and practical field application. Furthermore, CTAB helped expand its network of partners and raise public awareness of the benefits of organic production and consumption, thereby reinforcing Tunisia's position as a promising destination in the sustainable organic agri-food industry.
