Ensure that research results are adapted to actual farm conditions, in line with the demands and needs of producers and their professional structures and organizations.
Carry out programs to implement research results and adapt them to the specific regional characteristics of different agricultural zones.
To ensure the rapid and effective transfer of technical progress in this field.
Organize the dissemination of the most efficient production techniques in collaboration with the various bodies involved in agricultural research, and set up a database to ensure rational use of the technical data and knowledge recorded.
Work to support agricultural development by training, retraining and upgrading field extension workers, farmers, agricultural trainers and teachers.
Provide technical and economic support to producers, to help them solve problems relating to :
- Cultivation and fishing techniques.
- Improved productivity.
- Improved product quality.
- Controlling production costs.
- Sales techniques.
- Storage and packaging techniques.
Develop exchanges with similar or like-minded organizations at home and abroad, as well as with international organizations.
Undertake studies and compile scientific and technical documentation relating to the sector, for distribution to users.
Participate in all other missions likely to be of direct or indirect interest to the development of the agricultural sector.
